Well if the bareback is any example of how this performance will be-- this will be a wild rodeo...I don't know how Cimmeron Gerke still has an arm left on after that rear and leap Grated Coconut took coming out of the chute...And Will Lowes horse went every direction except upside down- 91.5 point ride....
Since theres NO WAY on Gods green earth I'm staying up until 2.30am when I work at 5am...can you give me a running report...esp on Mr.Hay...oh and how did Cimmeron mark???Ahhh Grated Coconut, great match-up{wish I could see it} This is crazy broadcasting at those hours...I think I'll follow suit and send off an email. like BMR :!:

Gerke split 4-5-6- marked like an 83.5- but had a hard time just getting past that big old pony....Bobby Mote ended up the world champion...
Jason Miller (Wyoming boy) won the world in the dogging- which was surprising because he came into the Finals in 13th place....Lee Graves split 3-4-5 and should have ended up in the top 5 in the world...

Sean Mulligan made a nice run, at things this year came in 14, and wound up 4th in the doggin. He's a Valentine NE, fellar, now livin in Ok.

Kinda neat to watch a guy you graduated High School with, on tv

espn 2 made me rather happy, I got home from work seen he had won round 6 on the computer, so I stayed up watched the rest of first showing and then got back to the dogging and he had run his 3.2 during the commercials. oh well, still got to watch it when they was talking to him.
Other then watchin Him, aint got to see much of the Finals.

In response to the comment about the timed event cattle, the cowboys themselves pick which cattle go to the NFR. They will keep track of whose cattle are the best and take them. I know that Growney had one pen there in the team roping but I can't speak for the others. I could probably find out if necessary.

The Saddle Bronc was a dogfight for sure-nice to see Billy Etbauer hoe it out of his last two-Cool Alley has ended alot of rodeos for guys-what a mare!!! Ty and I were just dreaming about the brrodmare band we could put together with a million bucks lol. We didn't take any titles home to Canada but we snuck some cash out of Vegas. Lindsay Sears must of won well over 100 grand herself. That Taos Muncey is a hand for sure.

I WAS THERE!!! Watched Round 7-8-9-10!!
It was AWESOME!! First time I've ever been there...Thursday night
was an exceptional night!! So exciting!!! Bob Tallman said there hadn't been a barrel racer break into the 13's yet, and boy, they sure met that challange!!!

We watched the Awards ceremony after the rodeo. Trevor Brazille won
the "Triple Crown" of rodeo and he gave such a nice speech. He is a class act!! He won Calf Roping, Team Roping and Steer Roping. Only 2 others have won that title. I think they were Jim Shoulders and Roy Cooper.

I was happy that Walt Woodard won too!! He's been one of my favorites since forever...and I got his autographed picture at one of the Cowboy
Christmas places. I wanted Clay O'Brien Cooper and Stran Smith's autograph, but I couldn't find them. I was so happy to get to see Stan win a round. And he wound up second in the world, or so it looked like on the scoreboard.

The Canadians did wonderfully well.

The crowd didn't always agree with the judges on the rough stock scores. They booed at least once an evening...and Bob Tallman would say "What?" and let the audience do it again. Pretty funny!! He is a great announcer. He mentioned that he was going to give an ultimate compliment and went on to say when Taos Muncey was riding, that he reminded him a lot of Billy Etbauer.

Things in Vegas are a lot more expensive than they used to be...not that I know that firsthand, but everyone mentioned it. At any rate, it's some kind of gooooooooooooood rodeo!!! The energy there is amazing, just amazing!!
