Thats fine Oldtimer unless you don't get GAC. Which I don't. Guess we'll just go without other than the days were in vegas.

I don't think I will make the NFR this year- winter is moving in too fast...

Denny- too bad you can't get GAC...They have been broadcasting recaps of a lot of the major PRCA rodeos (just watched Omaha last night which was the last major rodeo of the season- and decided many of the NFR races) and PRCA Championship Rodeo Bullridings...
Besides the rodeo- GAC has a lot of good music and western programs...

From what I've been hearing and reading- PRCA and GAC have signed a contract to expand their coverage of rodeos next season... :)

You're not here and the DVD is not working, guess you're SOL. :p

Pups and Bucks is down there. He sent me a photo of the cowgirl dealers at a casino, tempting to go sometime.

GAC is doing a great job broadcasting the rodeo. They show every run, it starts on time and they don't cut off the end to rerun a 10 yr old football game.

ESPN sucked when it came to rodeo.

GAC is also showing it live and not a few hour delay like espn did.

Agreed. GAC is doing a bang up job, IMO. Smart, too, having Joe Beaver on the timey's side and Butch Knowles & Donnie Gay for the roughies, splaining the action. What I don't understand is why Jeff Medders (sp?) has been around for so long. He doesn't have a broadcast friendly voice and brings no more to the table than my 3 legged dog would. I just don't care for the guy. They need to get Darrell Barron in there for an in depth interview as to the inner workings of things. Having been the chute boss at CFD and the WNFR since Moses wore short pants, he could really let the less informed know how things work, tell the story of the unsung heroes, if you will.

One thing I have noticed is that the bulls the PBR uses seem to be a whole lot ranker than the ones X-Treme bulls use. Is it just me or am I wrong?

I hope Versus continues to air the PBR after they make their switch on January 2nd to "NBC Sports".
