My 2 brothers and I are headed to Vegas for the NFR but are yet to get any tickets. I am looking on eBay and the NFR Ticket Exchange but was also wondering about getting them at Cowboy Christmas. My better judgment tells me to secure them early but I have heard others say that they have good luck just getting the tickets once they get there.

Anyone have any thoughts or advice?

I had an aunt that lived in Vegas for a while. She always said you can get better ticket cheaper just showing up and buying them on the street. And would scold me for ever buying any ticket in advance. But then she's not the one buying a plane ticket and making a special trip out there for a particular event and not even knowing for sure if your going to get a ticket for it. I always like to know for sure what I have before leaving home. As for where to buy them I'm not sure.

Don't look to buy them at cowboy Christmas. That place is high priced for everything. Call some of the casinos a lot of times they have package deals for rooms and tickets. That's how I get them every year and most of them have real good seating. Plus they will shuttle you to and from the Thomas and Mack. Good luck.. I'll be there the second weekend. Let me know if you go I'll look you up and buy you a beer.

Wow. I didn't know that. Good to know. Thanks.

I get 2 nights stay and 2 tickets in the lower bowl for $286.00. And they are good seats.

we bought ours at cowboy christmas they were regular price but we got the very top row of the colisium they were still good seats as the place is'nt that big and that year Cody and Jesse Wrights famaily was right in front of us so that in itself was fun to watch. They were excited dureing the Bronc Rideing then they left.

We waited and bought ours when we got there, had no trouble getting them and we have sat in VIP which was awesome, but have also sat two rows from the top, I don't think there is a bad seat in that place. I think you can see well everywhere.

If you are looking for cheap. My brother has not gotten tickets and when they get to the Thomas and Mack they go buy general seating tickets. Very reasonable. Then they wait until the rodeo almost starts and they start looking for open seats and place their buns in them......which works great if nobody show up late for them with their rightful ticket. He says you can't have a lot of pride as you might have to move but most years they end up with awesome seats.
