NFR

Well Chad Ferley had some bad luck-his cinch broke halfway through the ride-that's not a good feeling don't ask me how I know lol. Great NFR for the three Canadians so far-be nice for Rod Hay to finally win it all he won the drawing contest tonight just got a nice horse.
 
Yep Rod Hay has been doing a good job getting by some tough broncs...He's sitting one horse ahead in the average- and definitely won more than any other bronc riders in the Finals- $51,000...He's only $17,000 out of 1st place-- and the average pays $40,000....

I see now after the fifth round Lee Graves is winning the world in SW by $6,000- altho that one steer he missed took him out of the average probably....I picked Lee again for my fantasy team and I'm glad if he had to miss that steer, he did it early- because he's shooting for day money every trip now......

My son called me this afternoon from the top of the Stratosphere- but didn't talk much about the rodeo...He was pretty excited as he's not much of a gambler (especially the slots)- but plunked $20 in a machine while waiting for one of the other guys- and hit- and won $1000...Said it just paid for his trip...He said one of the cowboys with him hit $4500 so he's been paying for all the beer- and limo's....

He was also pretty happy since they didn't have tickets for tonight- but ran into some buddies that had some extras' so got them for tonite too....
 
I haven't seen one showing of this years NFR....think I'll have to try to catch up on the rest. So Rod Hayes doing good.... :D

Shhh,don't tell the other canucks but I'm kinda a huge fan of Cimmeron Gerke...hows he doing???

OT,sounds like that boy of yours is doing what he should at the NFR....havin the best time :!:

Cimmeron hasn't been too hot- but not bad either-- won $10,000...Timberman (my pick), Ford and McDaniel all have around $30,000....I think Bobby Mote is going to break out and win a couple more tho...

Ya- it sounds like they are having fun- but he also sounds like he's ready to come home....His first trip to Vegas- and I don't think he's too impressed with all the people :roll: ....
