my wife seen on Facebook this morning that Ryan Gray is in ICU after being stepped on last night. liver damage as i understand it. that is too bad.

Yep-- I just read where he has a liver laceration- that they believe he will recover without having to have surgery- but is out of riding for awhile....There goes his chance for a world championship- and my bareback rider on my fantasy rodeo team ..
Altho this does not seem like a winning year for me- as in two go arounds the only ones that have scored any points for me are Taos Muncey (both nights), Brenda Mays, and Cody Ohl...

Thats the good thing about having to DVR it in the early morning hours- when I watch it back the next afternoon/evening I can watch the roughstock and dogging- and skip all the roping...

Joe used to practice in the college covered arena when I was in college at Sam Houston. It drove me nuts because I would be trainning some young horses and I would have to leave when he had a arena at his home he could use. :roll:

Don Gay is the one who irritates me...he talks about how it used to be....I don't think he would have won all those titles if he had to ride todays critters.

Can I voice a complain on the UGLY cowboy hats....... Is it because of the cheap hats being made..... I know mine won't keep a shape very well.... But guys try and have some class at the big dance..... Nowwwwww on the hateful side I give the barrel racer a 70 on her dismount..... Tuf aint that bad of a guy. Ive been knowing him for years. When i went to Vegas to hang out with Shane, me shane and the coopers went to rodeo vegas together. To be honest with you, Tuf is one of the most down to earth ropers i know.

If you really want to know who the real jackleg in prorodeo is, its Cody Ohl. Ive been blessed enough to be able to really talk to most of the the big ropers, and Cody is the only one who acts like a donkey.

to be honest, the most down to earth roper i know is most probably Fred Whitfield.

i'm glad to hear that about Fred. that doesn't suprise me about Ohl. Tuff, on the other had....i'll need more evidence. :wink:
