Football starts now so Ty went and filled his bear tag tonight. This guy isn't huge but he's pretty. Going to be tasty too.

Alot of color on that bear.Our season opens on Sept 1st I never put in for a tag but I guess we can buy them over the counter this year I may give it a whirl.I don't really care for bear meat its not real high on my wild game list.But I could use some more wall furniture. :wink:

A hogfat fall bear can be pretty tasty stuff they've been living on beries etc for awhile now-he shot this guy just off a big patch of wild blueberries. There are alot of colour phase bears up here-from jet black to gream coloured.

Just invented a new bear dish- 'Bears in a Den'-spiced strips of bear backstrap wrapped in a hotcake-pretty tasty breakfast for sure.
