Nicky ,here is the rotating grapple

You can pick up two round bales and it will rotate the half a turn so you can stack them on end in one movement.
Handy for filling a hay shed.
The pipe on the teeth keep it from tearing up the net wrap.

Cool, thanks!! Someday we will get up there. The grapple is still on the wishlist. Could put alot more hay in the barn if we could go 4 high. They are nice people to talk to on the phone. Did they look well made?

Oh yes they are stout.

I have a set of "Leveling shoes" that fit in place of cultivator shovels for skimming along just above the ground for smoothing out hay fields that they made. Work good and they are heavy built.

They are pretty innovative people always looking for something to build. :D

Not to change the topic, but those "leveling shoes" sound interesting, BMR.

Our hayground is rough because we have so much gumbo and our crested grows in bunches instead of being sodded. When it rains, it washes the dirt away from the bunching and makes the ground really rough. Mr. FH doesn't think they would work in that situation. They are probably really helpful where there are molehills, etc. Anyhow, what kind of soil and conditions do those leveling shoes work for you? It would sure be something if we could find something to smooth out the crested wheat bunching. Other than re-farming the ground.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Anyone else that wants to weigh in on this with suggestions, please do.
