Just thought I would let you all know it looks like we will be staying put here for the time being.
The man we were trying to buy from just doesn't want to budge. He really doesn't want to sell too bad I don't think. I just wish we hadn't wasted so much time and money. Waiting now to see how long it takes to get our earnest money back!
I can't seem to find anything else in that area of NM that is what were looking for so I think we will try to look in Oklahoma. We thought about Colorado but we just can't afford it. Everything I found there was cut up into small places, with big price tags :shock:
I really don't care where we go as long as it ain't DESERT. I want some green.
Anyway, Thank You all for the advice and help.

How many pairs are you running... how big of place?
Edit: I don't really need to know how many cows you have to pass the advice along. Missouri, Eastern Ks, Eastern Ok, etc. are all places where the real estate are reasonable. There are also more chances to add income through some other way. They are closer to recreation , shoping, etc as well. I envy the high plains but unless it's a pretty good sized spread where all the income is derived from cattle , I'd sure consider back my way. Having said that I like the west better personally. It's sure getting congested here.

If you are looking at land north of Oklahoma City or west of Tulsa, you have a bed here at my place. Let me know when you head this way. If you want to fly, get your best fare into OKC or Tulsa and I will meet you. FWIW, I am a member of both the OKC and Tulsa MLS and can do a lot of the searching for you.
