Last year A'I'ing went a little slower than I like but chalked it up to no vigartone lol. Anyway I'd turned out one of my home raised bulls a week before we started with the whole bunch of cows. I sometimes do this to get a random sample and see if I like his calves. Once were done A'I'ing I turn out all the bull so hard to tell what belongs to what. It looks like he bred quite a few cows in a week s no wonder they weren't cycling at A'I' time. Getting alot of heifer calves from him so that's good.

Last time I worked an AI camp it was kinda like work gathering early and late and doing a bull's work in between. Of course we used a chute rather than breeding them on the end of a rope, so no excitement there, but the AI tech was so hungover everything he did was a lot like work....

Well there was your problem lol-I've had lots of laughs with A'I crews over the years and back in the day we might of settled a bit of dust from time to time. You have to admit sunup and sunset are the nicest times of the day to be out and about. Early August is when I do my own cattle a chance to kick back and spend some time with the kids-I do synch jobs all over but we usually just do the good old ride and pull at home.
