NU - KSU predictions?

I wouldn't mind a repeat of last year  I don't know for sure what's going to happen, losing Glenn in a already thin LB'er corp isn't a good thing.

Darn PPV games, that makes 5 on PPV this year  I bought the first game of the year, but have settled on radio the other 4. Thankfully KFAB out of Omaha booms in loud and clear here.

My boy says NU 45 - 9

We'll probably be listening on the radio while we're beating the brush for deer. I don't mind the radio at all - reminds of me how it was when I was a kid and the only games on TV was OU and the bowl game.

That's very true. Speaking of the good ole days, tomorrow's forecast the Missouri/Iowa St game in Ames is just what one would expect...miserable. Just heard on the 9pm news that kick off @ 5:30 will be in the upper 20's with a stiff north wind blowing across the open end of the stadium

I'll comfortably take KSU plus the 6 points, but no less.

Prince and Freeman both want to go out with a bang and will have the troops fired up.

The shaky part is the KSU running defense, the number one weapon in winning football games. If Nebraska gets the chance to run the ball at will, the passing game will open, then lights out.

So who said 56 points, over 600 yards of total offense (330 plus on the ground) and a road game turning into a home game for the Huskers?

I was listening to the radio and heard very clearly and very loudly "GO BIG RED" being chanted in Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Priceless....

Oh yeah, I heard that too, bought a smile to my face hearing that. I just wished the Clown Prince wasn't getting canned

BTW, that first half with Lane doing the play by play was brutal radio, I understand why Greg left, but Lane was just unprepared early in the game.

Yeah, Lane needs more practice. He's pretty good calling baseball, but he's not Greg.

That rivalry is officially dead. Things are starting to get back in order, NU is on the ups and K-State is in the basement. After the ash whupping Freeman took I bet he really regrets committing to the delightful kitty cats. It's a shame Ganz doesn't have a couple more years left.

Jigs is awful quiet. If he went to the game I hope someone else is driving home.

Freeman is the biggest punka$$ in the Big 12. He won't last one season in the NFL.

Text Boy was probably sending a text message on the side line to his daddy asking to get him out of the game

Those big 6 foot 6 280 pound qbs that everyone falls in love with don't make the transition to the NFL. Russel for the Raiders, Culpepper, and Leftwich for example.

where was Greg?? I was wanting to listen to him call the game because I hate Wyatt Thompson, and was disgusted to hear the two homos on the air. Lane and Matt are complete dicks.

Coffman will prove to be a good QB. I think he needs to start the game next week. however, Freeman will be ok in the NFL, he just needs to lose the prima donna syndrome. love hearing NFL QB expertise from Huskers.....how many of the Husker legends QB in the NFL????

restored order??/ NU lived off of a weak conference for 30 years, and lost most times to OU or CU for the title, then went on to lose to a Florida team in the Orange bowl.

you guys are sure living up to the self proclaimed greatest fan title.

Calm down, Jigsy, you knew deep down that the mildcats getting whupped was the probability. That Coffman might be something, he seemed to spark the O. I don't think Freeman is mentally tough enough for the NFL. If you're going to be a prima donna there, you had better be able to back it up.

Those 5 big trophies that we've got attest that we didn't lose all of them!

Greg had to go back to Lincoln as his wife went into labor. She had their third girl. I think they named her Beau.

I really like to hear Greg call a game. he is super! but Lane grindle is a douche. he really stunk it up. almost as arrogant as jim rose....then you add in Mr. one catch and I am a super hero, davidson....yuck.

congrats to Greg on the baby!

yes, I figured it would be a loss.....but that 14 -14 tie had me excited.

I think it proved to me a few things. our special teams are on par. the O is looking good with Coffman, if we can just get a monster D built back up it will be alright....

hard to get the kids fired up with a lame duck coach. there are a lot of rumors around Manhattan that Prince is hardly doing anything at practice, too cold, call it a day, and stuff like that.

Jiggsy...I have met "Mr. One Catch" Matt. I know his daddy-in-law REAL WELL. Matt is just a helluva great guy compared to his DIL! As far as Jim Rose....who the hell cares?!?!

next time you see him, pass the message along that KSu fans hate him just as much as he said he hates KSU.

you better be careful, it is 12 days until my annual pilgramage to Red Cloud for the Delka Thanksgiving......
