Unbelievable crop! They will make awfully nice feed! What are you feeding the oats to? I found there is a lot of push in them for young cattle.

Thanks Burnt. I feed them to my cows, would like to grind some with some hay to feed my calves. The cows I'll alternate rolling out hay and greenfeed when my swath grazing is done.

Grandpa used to love feeding oats to weaned calves. He always thought they were almost as good as momma's milk. That is a pretty stand of oats for sure!

What variety are they? They sure are nice.
We tried AC Mustang mixed with Cowboy barley here for the first time and are VERY impressed.
