I actually made myself useful and rounded up one pasture all by myself, of course with the able assistance of a Polaris Ranger.

And I was envying the t-shirt / no jackets - day 4 of fall (cool, cloudy and windy) here and I really miss summer already!

First calf sale at the local ring is the 19th ~ good luck with the marketing!

Sorting pairs was always my favorite part of owning cattle.

Glad things are progressing there on all fronts. When I saw Kosmo on that walker, my first thought was that there should be some vaccine bottle hanging there. Then get Sparky to add one of your branding wheels and you are all set.
It is tough to assist mechanically. My dad hurt his back about a month ago and at 76 did not feel like riding yesterday after our neighbour called us about some cows out. As a truck cowboy he is good at driving the 7 miles around the road to get gates, but not so good at cutting cows. :shock:

Looking at your photos---which I always enjoy, by the way and thanks-----I was gonna make a smart ass 'well, hell--get your Dad to give ya' a leg up' type comment----no offense intended, it's so neat you still got him and what an inspiration~~speaking for me, I'm more awkward fall down more get up slower hurt quicker heal slower---but it's a pretty morning and I fully expect to see ya' back on your mule...have a good 'un~~
