They were acting a little dramatic today... I just reminded them it could be worse, they could live at gcreekrch's :) .

The only shelter to feed in that they've got in this tree-free pasture. I can only imagine what would happen if they were in with the trees today  .

Wow, amazing pictures. I hope i'm not the only one who's sick of winter. Local news said Sunday night that Des Moines is already closing in on it's average snowfall for an entire winter (around 32 inches) and we've still got February and March to go through

Look on the bright side! Atleast i can see some blue sky above ya! Hope your storm moves on and the wind quits ya. Bet those old sisters like the swells and timber in that type weather! Thanks! :D

Wind hit us this morning and is still going strong.
Had to look out my west window to see if something had hit the house. Sounded like a giant hand hit that side of the house.
Literialy took my breath away walking down the hill to the house this afternoon.

I imagine we will get that pretty soon...They are predicting wind for tonight and tomorrow.....But at least our bitter cold is moving east...Day started out at 25 Below and got to about 15 above this afternoon... :D

The old cows just stood around and basked in the 40 degree temperature change and no wind....

I know what you mean by taking your breath away... at least the sun shone here all day :D . It's supposed to be windy all night, so I'm hoping most of the drifting will be done by late morning. At least the grass will be opened up again  .

The wind started blowing yesterday and still hasn't given up, nothing like Wyoming but enough to drift the feed road in and a bit of the main road to town.

You're right, those pampered pets would probably die up here. :D
