We think we got 8-10 inches of snow yesterday. It was really wet and has settled some...but here's what went on this morning:

We have mineral coming this morning, two 5-ton drops. The
trucker can't get into one place because of snow, so Mr. FH will
have to put it on our trailer and deliver it. After he removes some
snow, of course:

Our friends from Washington state are here hunting. They had to
uncover the Scout first. I didn't get a picture before they started:

Barbeque, anyone? :D

Have a great day, everyone!

FH----we got a nice "dusting" here,too....danged cold out this morning, but still above zero, so should not complain!! forecast is calling for more of the white stuff so get ready!! hope you have a great one!!! :D :D

The snow in the centre section of the BBQ will be gone in no time if you fire it up. Looks like that wet slippery kind of snow but I'll bet it doesn't stay long. Too early to start winter.

Ah-ahem. Well here in Southern Ontario we are having Indian summer I guess

because it's 10C with clear skies and wall to wall sunshine. :D

I just brought a load of fertilizer home and am going to spread potash on the hay and pasture land this afternoon.
Such nice weather makes me feel like I have a bazillion jobs to finish up before the snow comes
- which it is supposed to do beginning next week.

I here ya on the bazillion jobs but I feel pretty good this year. I got the calves weaned and the cows preg checked and back to the winter range. The Hfrs home from town and on their winter range, the bulls home and culled and ready for winter and a new water bowl in place. I have to bring in the stud and wean 2 foals and get some horses moved out for the winter and I would have liked to get after some fence but I am farther along then I figured i would have been. :D

looks like you ended up with about twice as much as we did. i'd say we lost 80% of ours today. the corrals are no longer dusty. :D

Mr.FH must have had the dodge plugged in, huh?

Will you ship the BBQ Purolator or Fedex? Awaiting its arrival :D

Calgary has been beautiful the whole month, so far. Hope it stays for at least the month.

A month long chinook, with a "slightly used" BBQ will be great.
