Legendary Head Coach Bill Snyder sure can pick 'em.

Arrested in November for possession of marijuana and became so violent he had to be tased? Did not deter Snyder in the least....scholarship still on the table.

Arrested and charged Sunday with five counts of first degree robbery and armed criminal action. Striking victims on the back of the head with a pistol and aggressively shoving them to the floor?

Who, you ask? Why, top KSU recruit Jamone Boyd, who had committed and was expected to sign a scholarship to play football at Kansas State today.

Jamone was recruited by schools throughout the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, and Washington State.

I guess having a recruit facing 50 years in the slam was enough to make even Snyder rescind the offer of a schlarship, huh?

Time to hit the JuCo's! :wink:

This guy makes Nebraska's worst look like Sunday School teachers.
 
Obviously Nebraska was looking at him pretty hard too.

He made an official visit there not long ago.

No use in getting frumpy because he committed to KSU over the Huskers.

The kid is supposed to be one heck of an athlete.

He won't be playing outside of the prison league any time soon. :lol:
 
I'm just glad he wanted to be a MildCat. Had he chosen Nebraska and this happened, Sandy & I would never hear the end of it! :lol:

Jamone had the pot bust in November and the 5 armed robberies happened in January.

There are over 20 facilities in the Missouri prison system. If he was incarcerated in a facility in the western part of the state, maybe Snyder could have him bussed to Manhattan on football Saturdays? :lol:

I can't help but think of Charley Sheen's great line in Major League...."What league did you play in last year, son?" "California penal." :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
there was no offer signed by him. he will be in prison for a few years.

typical hot shot ball player who thinks he is above the law...

Snyder overlooked the pot deal probably because he knew that if the youngster bought into the program, Snyder would develop him into a great attribute to society....

I will bet you that even though this kid goes to jail over this crime, Snyder will still offer to help the kid off the field. something Bozo would never do.


Snyder has done more, with less, than any other coach.... I see we were rated 5th best recruiting class in big 12, Texas was #1.....I think we will whoop Texas ash year in and year out with our sub par class.

Wonder why Pelini let a starter leave and go back home for a couple weeks during the season? Pry because he dont give a shirt and didnt want to help him.
 
I will dig out the info, but was reading about a verbal commit to NU, who changed his mind and went to another school...Pelini went ape-sh!t on him... cussed him out and was an ash....

this is the guy that you want helping your son grow up??? I think NOT.

he did not sign with KSU...he will be in prison. bad kids go to all schools...Nebraska has more criminals in their history than KSU...

your jealousy of a program that you once dominated, now are below shows through quite obviously.... it warms my heart to know you feel this way....


Pelini has NU going in the right direction....to mediocrity. NU is history. the Big Ten belongs to Urban Meyer now.

you are right, KSU has no history, BUT we have a future, something NU does not have... keep dusting your trophies.... it is all you have, Kansas State has something to look forward to...

OU, KSU, Baylor, Okie Lite...all beat NU if they were still here...and of course Texas owns you, but you knew that

jigs the only bad thing about his is that Baylor would have beaten you 10 out of 10. :wink:
 
Baylor was rocket fuel that night, I think we over looked them, they were up for the game, Klien had concussion issues... but, no excuses...they whooped us.

At that particular time of teh year I believe they would have whooped about anybody. A shame you didn't get them early on before they started rolling.
