Here is the deal . For those of you who think that i think i am a legend in my own mind , like Denny thinks of me . Well here it is , folks ask me how we do things here or they ask me about were i come from or what i have done and i tell them . Now folks like denny think that i might be tryin to brag on myself or what ever goes on in his little pee brain . But i am sure he has never left home to see the world and he is very jealous that a young man such as me has been around and seen more than he has , and i could probly ride circles around him backwards , (yes thats bragging but i have the right as far as i think, Denny ) but i find it hard to really call it a brag when i am sure its true . Just because i dont knwo anything about pig farmin like Denny does or i dont know how many chickens you can run to an acre well i am sorry . I grew up around cattle and horses and thats all i know so if i talk about the shirt thats happend to me or the things i have done when someone asks then well ya know i cant help it . So if anyone else has a problem they would like me to addres that they have with me come on and share because the back biting in the threads is gettin real old , and if you have nothing better to do than sit and think about how to try and run a guy in the ground then you need a hobby . I am just here to have a good time and have already met alot of good people off here and i never thought i would ever associate with farmers and Buckaroos haha but here i am and the few that i am talkin bout i am happy to have the chance to visit with you . So with that said if you have a beef with somthin i said let me know now or stop the B.S. back biting in the threads . Act like a grown up .

I don't know, RR. Denny's been to my house and he's a pretty big boy.

No, I take that back. He's a REALLY big boy.

He's not the kind to "back bite" either. I'm sure if he thinks someone is full of crap, he'll just come out and say it.
 
Well its not just directed at him and thats real sweet of you to stick up for him by the way :) but anyway its not just at him its at anyone that has a deal about what i say . If you think i am full of shirt then thats your opinion right more power to ya i really dont care , just dont follow me around in my posts and and make stupid little comments . It dont really matter how big a guy is trust me . No one is sayin anything bout a fist fight anyway so i dont know were anyone got that this was a post to clear the air and say what you want to say not pick a fight over the computer thats just dumb .

Nawww, after visitin' with you Az, I sure can tell you ain't tellin' no lies.

Folks, Denny included, Az is a man who's been makin' a living off the back of horse for years. Sure he's still on the younger side, but the way he grew up, you grow up fast or leave the country.

His ways are different from lots of ours and he does a job that few of us could do, to his abilities.

Yeah RR, Denny jumped him about something in another thread. I've noticed the Denny ain't afraid to say what's on his mind, but maybe he jumps in haste once in awhile.

I guess it's hard for some to imagine that there are still big parts of the country where you still have 4 to 6 year old unbranded cattle, basicly running wild and the best way to get them is with a horse and a rope. I'm sure most of us would get pretty weak in the knees if we tried to follow Az around.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he is the only guy in the world that does what he does for a living and he might not be the best, but I can tell you from visiting with him that he's a straight shooter and when he say's it was a little steep and rocky you can bet it was damn steep and real rocky!

Probably should have stayed out of this but I hate to see good people not getting along.
 
After nearly 60 years knocking around this old world, I've seen a lot of stuff. Some was really unique and great to watch, some can give a fella nightmares.....mostly it was repeats....same thing over and over and over again. But there are things I've never seen or done. And some things I've seen or done I didn't get the first time through. So when a fella that raises chickens or pigs want to tell me about it, I try to listen. When someone wants to tell me about horsemanship or the nature of cattle, I try to listen. I like to try to understand things....when I see a word I don't know, I look it up...even if it is French or German or Greek. So when old pros like az says something, regardless of what it is about, I assume he's sharing a life experience or something he's learned along the way.....more than likely from the school of hard knocks with a graduate class in young and stupid.......Lord knows I've learned a lot that way. And when someone wants to tell me about the nature of chickens or pigs or tomatoes or corn or wheat, I try to listen.......when a fella has 50 years put into a job, he knows more than I will ever know about it, but if I listen some might rub off on me. And when a fella has spent his years moving from one spot to another, chances are he's seen somethings I missed......and if I listen some of what he learned might make it between my ears. Even a braggart is worth listening to for a while.....if for nothing else so you know what NOT to do or how NOT to talk.

I for one am glad az is around....he's made this forum a little more entertaining and provided some insights into things I hadn't thought of before, Thanks. Same thing with several others. It's the ones who think their opinion is the only one worth anything that I get impatient with. But the guys worth listening to are worth more than the aggravation caused by the others....
 
AZ....you finally are part of ranchers.net,if you've been yakked about in front of and behind the scenes...Yee Haw,congrates young man :!: :!: :)
 
Well, I haven't been able to be on here much, but I have to jump into this one. You go, AZ! Its clear you can back it up. Not saying no one else can, but not sure many can keep up with you there in AZ on your turf. Pretty sure you could handle it easily in their terrain. I never took it as bragging. From the pictures I could tell you're low-balling what you're saying. Makes my bucking pony seem pretty tame, but he's fun for me! Keep telling your stories--very entertaining.
 
Well its good to see some decent people in here thats for sure . I was kinda thinkin bout not comin back yesterday but i see the good folks outweigh the iggnorant ones thats for sure . Here i cant even spell ha ha who is the iggnorant one ha ha . But anyway yeah i am glad not everyone acts like that and i look forward to a hell of alot more posts thats for sure .

I dont mind his stories What bothered me was his attitude towards the california cowboy he may not have seen ALL that AZ has but its not right to belittle someone due to it.All I said was for him to grow up but I forgot you can't be a COWBOY and grow up it's one or the other..
 
Now Denny your generalising about Cowboys,there are very,very few cowboys I've met that don't live by "The code"

Now if your talkin about bullrider cowboys,then I get ya :wink: :lol: :lol:

Yep she did up a 136 quarts last weekend I was baleing hay so I missed out on it.Darn
