good luck

Well, that just doesn't look too good for us in Sask. either. That red must be snow. We aren't ready for winter here yet, too much stuff to do still. If you look real close, my home would be just about where the #4 is at the top of the map. Hopefully, all that moisture will stay south of us.

Weather boys are predicting that will stay west of us...All they are predicting for us is "Blustery weather" and wind....Looks like Mrs. Greg left the back door open again

I'm supposed to help a neighbor haul and ship calves tomorrow and Wed.- which means a 50 mile trailer haul to the scales-- and they are predicting 60+ mph winds  If we get much rain- we'll never get in to them...

We havent had any winter around here yet, hunters are complaining about fighting wasps, most of them are hunting in short sleeves ,so lookin forward to some wet cold stuff, maybe ole mrs whatchamacallit will leave the south door open :???:
good luck

PS how much snow are you getting shelly ?......stay warm.

Wind is howling-- 39 mph-- gusting to 59 mph....I don't know how we're ever going to even stay on a horse- or 4 wheeler-- let alone try to get a cow out of those creek bottoms....

I'm gonna wear my earflaps-- thats for sure- cause a hat wouldn't stay on anyway...

Just heard on the radio-- some folks are reporting wind gusts over 70 mph   :( Something tells me its going to be a lonnnnngggg day :?

good luck with your cow work. the wind stopped blowing here at five and now we have about a half inch of snow. be a little tough on the plowing today.

Hear about the fire that's burned 10,000 acres north of Big Timber? Still burning, roads closed close to Melville. If it's howling there like it's howling here....heaven help the firefighters. I would think they would just stand out of the way. We get to do some sorting today in the alleyway....gotta love eating that dust  Days like this I'm glad I don't wear contacts

I don't know whose getting what, but this damn wind could really go away! It started last night and hasn't let up. Right now it's gusting to 80 km/ph, and could go up to 100. The only good thing, is it's blowing so hard, it's making it difficult for the clouds to stand still long enough to rain or snow on us. No moisture yet, and as far as I'm concerned, it can stay that way till spring.

I hope things work out good with your fire Mrs. Greg-- wouldn't want to be- and don't really know how to fight a fire in these winds....

I headed north this morning with a trailer and 4 wheeler (thought my old horse would think I was nuts being out in these gales and throw my butt  ) -- wore my scotch cap with ear flappers-- but at the first gate it blew off  -- had to drive 1/4 mile down the road until it got caught in some brush in the ditch to retrieve it... After gathering the cows- I was running the sorting gate cutting out calves -- good thing it was no 200 lber cause he'd have been blown out of the corral...All I could do to hold that gate open when the wind was howling 60+mph... Anyway got this bunch worked-- have to do the same again in the wind tomorrow.....

Grandkids trampoline is sitting 1/4 mile away in a fence- pretty well hailed out--Neighbors from miles arounds siding that they were having replaced after the June hailstorm is in several of the fencelines  I heard on the radio the State weather forecaster (Polaski) say that North Dakota is starting a lost and found for us to retrieve missing items....

I'm afraid to take a shower for fear of plugging up the sewer from all the dirt and dust in my ears, eyes and hair...

Prayers here from Montana. We (myself included) have fought some nasty fires on this place, and helped on several neighbors' places for almost 15 years. Not fun :(

Keep us informed :!:
