"WE ARE MARSHALL". Watched it last night, and I think I might need to
buy it. It was so darn good. I'd recommend watching it with your kids, even. Matthew McConaughey starred in it. He did such a fine job, I don't know how theycould have cast any one else in that role.

It is a true story...

Let me know what you think after you see it.
Gosh, I feel so good. I've seen 2 good movies in a row now.
3:10 to Yuma and We are Marshall.
Hope I haven't used up my quota for the year. Seems good movies
are so hard to come by any more.

Here is what the movie is about:
When a plane crash claims the lives of members of the Marshall University football team and some of its fans, the team's new coach (McConaughey) and his surviving players try to keep the football program alive.

Greg and I went to 3.10 to Yuma last week, really enjoyed it :!:

We are Marshall is on our pay per view,we're hoping to watch it this weekend

Wild Hogs, really????

I looked that over and couldn't quite bring myself to rent it.
But now I will. Thanks Katrina.

I love the movie reviews we do on here. I've watched some good
movies I may have missed without them being recommended here.

Just another 'PERK' of this site. :D

Wild Hogs was funny in the same way City Slickers was funny..
same concept except this is with motorcycles instead of going West to drive cattle :)....
It has some good humor and some real-life concepts to it.

excellent movie.wife kept crying

watched "We Are Marshall" and I,too, cried.....can only imagine what the parents felt as they watched the flames and got the words of their loved ones!!! Excellent movie!!

have not seen 3:10 to Yuma, yet...but am looking forward to seeing it!!

"Wild Hogs" is absolutely HILARIOUS......movie about a bunch of "male menopausal" men who decide to try and be bikers!!! John Travolta is simply a riot!!!

Course, my all-time favorite family movie is still "Second Hand Lions"......one of my co-workers had never seen the movie, so I let her borrow the DVD tonight!! Hope she enjoys it as much as I did!!!

another good "family" movie is "Bridge to Terabithia" (but....get the hankies out...ya gonna need them) and "The Last Mimzy"!! My boys love them both!!

:D :D :D :D

Hanky movies, eh? I take it you gals aren't into Bruce Willis movies so much, then?

How about one of his oldies "Ransom"? Anybody seen it? It is a good lesson on not giving in to common opinion. Of course not that some of us would need lessons on that . . . . .

How about the western Broken Trail?? It was a little graphic for me, but others might like it......
Chick flicks............ The Notebook, The Wedding Date, What's the name of the movie where the church woman pose for a calender???? Calender Girls...... right????? Enough with (I think) with J Low.....

Yes Second Hand Lions is a classic..... A must for all......... I never get tired of that movie...........

Have ya seen" 300"??? Yummy and you can justify the "drool factor" as it is a wee bit historical!!

You need a hanky for this one...but not for tears....to wipe the drool away!!

Hunky....hunky....hunks!!!

Will have to look into 300,I've been told its good.

Although I'm not sure alot on here would like it but I LOVED "Elizabethtown"bought all three of the soundtracks because the music was awsome
