I've missed seeing your pics this week. Thought you went on a cruise, too, but it looks like you've been busy. Bull calves look great but all your cattle look great.

Things sure browned off in your area too. I especially like the colors in the sunset picture. You have a way with your camera. Of course subject matter makes a difference and there is plenty of good subject matter there. :-)

Speakin' of splay-footed; where can you find overboots that fit over cowboy boots? Used to, you could get them at any feed store or boot place. I haven't found them online and no one seems to know what I'm talking about when I ask about them.

they are under outerwear

Those are some A-1 looking heifers you got there soapweed! I would sure take those off your hands if you want to ship them to colorado:wink:

I got a sale bill the other day about a land auction up in Crawford, NE its for the Corman Farm and Ranch. I think it was 10,000 plus acres and some leased ground maybe state dont remember the whole thing. Do you know anything about that, is it a estate sale or something? Good looking ground in the pictures, but they always take them when everything is green and looking good.

those heifers sure look like the right kind. whats the story on the bull calves? that look like long sided buggers. :D got any close ups of the bulls?

Justin, those look like the commercial bulls he bought near Martin, SD. That's where I buy most of my bulls too. Mostly Jorgensen Angus genetics from Ideal, SD. I've been buying bulls from them for 12 years. Ten dollars a hundred over steer price and we pick them from over 300 head right off the cow. Most of the rest go to Jorgensen's where they are marketed as commercial bulls. I think the whole bull pack averaged about 650 pounds. It's a heck of a herd of Angus cows.
