Oughtta introduce myself...

Been hanging around for awhile so I thought I should at least be polite and say hello. :lol: :wink: I know some of ya'll on here from the other forum I frequent, but there's plenty of new faces here too.

I'm milkmaid, sometimes simply known as MM , work on a dairy and run quite a few of my own holsteins. Nurse cows, calves, and heifers. Thought I'd show a few pictures too so you sort of have a face to put with the name. Cow pictures only.

My only nurse cow at the moment, 311 -- she carries a long story and a lot of sentimental value.

Hey MM, I think that last picture should be entered in the fair instead of the rear shot of 311. Just an opinion, but that last picture sure is an eye catcher. :wink:

Felt like I shouldn't enter more than one of the same cow and her calves (same type of scenery) so I took both pictures to 8x10s and still haven't completely decided between that one of KK and 32, and this other one of 49. Have 'til Wednesday to make up my mind. :lol:

I've only been to Idaho once but it's a pretty part of the world for sure-now we have a bonafide dairy person board you can give us all a tutorial on udder quality-most dairy folks have forgot more than most beef guys will ever know-well at least this beef guy.
