My thoughts are with the workers that were on shift last night and their families.

Tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with the victoms and their families.

A son of a family here lives in Burns Lake. I believe he is in the logging sector but depended on the mill for his job.

It does leave a lot of people jobless in a lot of sectors here. Babine Mill was the major employer in the community.

They said this morning that some people have been air lifted to Vancouver and to Edmonton, others were in Prince George hospital and some stayed in Burns Lake. 3 people are still missing.
