Here is our new "mobile home". I think it is worthy of the Redneck Award for fanciest Home on Wheels. lol. Actually the kids are real excited about it. We inherited it thru a land purchase. It was lived in during the 1930's by a batchelor sheep rancher. I thought it would make a fabulous play house, and I might fix the inside up some. We lifted it off an older running gear, and onto this one.

The geese were back a few days ago. I think they must have made a wrong turn in Tuscaloosa, as this is about the earliest I have seen them back.

I hope them geese know something we don't...Sure don't look like spring right now- still snowing pretty good...

But the weather boys are predicting 40's by the weekend and possibly 50's next week...Everything will be slop if it gets that warm- but maybe it will be dried up before my first calf comes in a couple weeks or so....

No, you got it wrong BMR, that is the home we pull behind the car when we are going to be gone a little while. You don't think that there are ladies anywhere that might not appreciate that good looking outfit do you?????

They are saying we will warm up too OT, and I hope so as I would like to get rid of some of the ice we have. Then to have light snow on top of it makes things real slick.

Our heifers will probably start calving in a couple weeks too.
 
What respectable ranchwife wouldn't want that mobile home to travel the world in????
NONE!!!!!

I've seen a few geese flying by also, in the last couple of days. I think their spring radar is a little off! But I'll take an early spring if that's what they're bringing...

cows are looking good Tap, I think we've got about 100,000 snowgeese around here right now. I dont' think I've even seen this many on our trips up to De Soto Bend. I can see howcome they are having overpopulation problems.
 
That is one fine top-of-the-line Airstream ya got there Tap! I can't see the nameplate on it but I know it's an Airstream by the color. Must be the Turbulence model?????? Looks like if you move it from where it's parked today it might attain great fuel economy on a trip south!

I'm also glad to see you chose to upgrade the undercarriage for increased reliability. I had heard some time ago in addition to ag and construction equipment that John Deere was in the business of manufacturing RV chassis! :twisted: :D :lol:

RR, if it is a Gleaner it is a true classic. AGCO ended a long era when they started putting paint on Gleaners. :(

BTW, on a serious note. I have an old MM disc drill I still use with an all galvanized steel box. The galvanized is still in great shape. This drill is sure an oldie. I have both an owners manual and parts manual for it. Includes parts list and instructions for a horse hitch. :shock: :D :lol:
