Our new pup

As you all know, we lost Corky on Friday, April 13, 2007. One of the saddest days of our lives, I removed my avatar that day.

We have a new pup, we call him Joey. He is a Corgi just like Corky was, and has all the Corgi personality. He is sooo cuuuute! I've decided to share with everyone in Ranchers.net, I think when Corky died I quit posting, only checked in a few times now and then.

Here is Joey:

We also have Joey's mate coming, she will be here with us June 15. We will call her Katie. She is a Tri-colored female and we are going to start raising Corgis.

Here is Katie (only 5 weeks old at the time of the pic)

Isn't he adorable!?!?! The other day i decided to put him on the stairs to the basement to try and get him to go down, cuz he won't yet. So here he was, stuck on the stairs, with me calling him to come down and follow me. He took one step down, got his front legs down, and then he was stuck :lol: :shock: Poor thing, finally got down one whole step, then he wouldn't go down anymore, so we just picked him up and put him back upstairs :lol:

It says nothing about being a pembroke welsh!! There are 2 diff types of corgis... Welsh and cardigan Corgi, cardigan corgis have tails and pointish ears, welsh and no tails and smaller roundedish ears...

It says nothing about being a pembroke welsh!! There are 2 diff types of corgis... Welsh and cardigan Corgi, cardigan corgis have tails and pointish ears, welsh and no tails and smaller roundedish ears...

Actually Katy, they are both Welsh Corgis...Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Cardigan Welsh Corgi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_Corgi )

HY, sw, and MCG!!!

I love them...glad you have something to fill the space in your souls that Corky left. I know you'll never replace him, but without a doubt these guys will heal your hearts, souls, and reclaim your spirit. They'll undoubtedly have the best home a doggie could ever want.

joey and katie are so cute
corgi's are so much fun i had one for a long time
he was my bud and went every where i went even working and he was alot of help handling cattle also

All you have to do is look at him, he's a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I don't care for the Cardigans-mostly because of their long tails.

Thats why i asked but really knew they were pembrokes i just thought it would be nice to ask instead of assuming....
