sounds like everyone is going to have a little rain on there hay, just watched the calgary news the weather system reaches all the way down to texas , pretty amazing

The rain yesterday went North and South of us and we didn't get a drop. :roll: Our Preacher is holding on to the money I guess.

I wish ours would be that accurate. I remember one instance when I was watching the broadcast while it was raining its butt off. He proceeded to state their was no chance of rain in the forecast. At the time I lived 3/4 of a mile from the TV station. Useless bunch they are.

Flipping channels last week and happend to stop when I saw a weather map. Turned out to be this station and the *itch had the gaul to say the area was lucky because it didn't rain as expected that day.

I was watchin the weather channel today. And their BIG HEADLINES were, "Where is Summer?" I'm like.....hello people...it's been 100+ degree here for how long? And it hasn't been rainin a whole heck of a lot!!!!!

Then......They talked about Washington State....Colorado....the northern plains.....the north east....the south east/florida......poof gone to a commercial....Nothin about Texas...and at that time there were thunderstorms movin over our area...and I was talkin outloud beggin for the rain to move on over just a little and git us wet.

LOL nah but it's sure difficult to see thru the weather gals that work there. 1/2 of em are expectin, at all times I think. LOL Never fails when ya really need to see what's goin on in Texas it's blocked from view by an unborn child. Hurricane season seems to be the worst time...but that is what....August/Sept......and that's 8/9 mo after they were snowed in. LOL

What a screwy year..Last night we picked up another .1-- now the thunderstorms have moved in this morning- and getting thundershowers, just like spring rains- temp is 58 degrees.....I think the fellow that told me this year is just 1 month behind knows what he's talking about..

I can't believe what a little moisture will do to green up the hillsides..
