Our yard is a sheet of ice

Not up here in Little Siberia... Been getting snow- rain- snain - freezing rain for the last couple of months... And every morning we have fog....Yesterday , after the night of rain which froze- the fog moved in and it was foggy all day (most the time less than 1/4 mile vis )....Never got above 29 degrees... Foggy all last night- and altho it is clearing- again the yard is a sheet of ice...

If the old wives tale of "90 days past the fog, brings moisture" I'm starting to think I should be searching out some Gopher wood- as we are going to have a very wet spring...

I wish you could. Just 20 more days and they start getting longer but it takes a long time to notice. :roll:
 
Well dig out your ice skates Big Muddy-- its raining here again now- and by the radar it looks like there could be good rain heading toward you...

Temp is 37- and weather boys say low tonight will be right about 32...Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny- near 40 degrees with winds gusting to 40 mph... It could be almost impossible to stand in that wind on top of wet ice ...
