While he may not be the next long range shooter, I will put my 11 year old grandson up against most of you with a handgun!! :P He had only shot a pellet rifle up until today, but today he showed me up. Started him on a 4" single action .22, moved him up to a 6" single action 22, then on to a semi auto 22, and finally had him shooting a Ruger 357, Security Six, with light 38 loads. With him shooting from a rest, and me free handing things, he could out shoot me! Pretty fun to get the younger, video game generation, involved with shooting.

Oh for those "Young" eyes again...................

Its kinda funny you said young eyes. We had some friends over that were target shooting with us. Everyone was shooting hand guns. Must have been 25 of them laying on the back of the pickup. Anyhow, the 2 men weren't hitting like they should have been. Both a pretty decent shots, or used to be. Lisa finally asked them if they were wearing bifocals, both said yea, old age. She told them to look through their bifocals so shoot. They did and started hitting.
I know if she shoot a handgun when its raining, she will drown, caus she is trying to see through her bifocals.

Hard to hit what ya can't see! :D I have never been a great rifle or pistol shot. But with a bow i can hold my own or better. Love to shoot and can always get better.

Stands to reason that the bi-focals must be used because we're actually looking at the sights when shooting.
