HAHA for whoever thought of number 2!!!! :lol: :lol:
That is my form of an outhouse...but usually I don't have a roll and have to scrounge around for leaves or sage works well and kinda has a natural deodorizor! haha

I sent this to cert bright and early this morning, but I must have been too late. So I'll just share. 
Multipurpose. The right side was a storage shed, the left was a two-hole outhouse. It sat in our backyard in SD.
I just thought it was so pretty tucked there under the lilacs when they were blooming.

I'm sorry HMW. Been really busy around here lately, havn't had time for much computer time.
I didn't allow for an extra hole in the poll this week cause soooo many people think I forgot to post a picture when there are more voteing slots than pics.
In order to add your picture to the contest I'd have to delete the whole poll and start over. I would have, but there were several votes already.

Dont forget to take some time for you ...saw a cute magnet for car or truck and it is soo true......If wifes happy LIFES happy .... if I had hubby would have put it on his truck.

We have some neighbors that live down the road a ways, they have an outhouse/shower combination, it was originally just an outhouse, but the man of the house decided a shower would work in there too...only problem is, you hafta stand up on the seat thing of the lower portion to take a shower......and they USE IT!!!!! Talk about temptin fate, either ya fall in, or ya dropped the soap. :shock:

I had one I wanted to enter as well, but it needed to be scanned and I don't have a scanner. Took it to town to have it done and forgot. So I will have it scanned and put it up for viewing only.

Only outhouse around here is about 10 miles away, with all this mud (YIPPEEEEE) I did not feel like driving the Ranger over there to get a picture. I know I can;t make it in a truck, anyway, the outhouse is on it's side and wouldn't win an ugly contest if nobody else showed up. Every time I think there will be lots of entries, there aren't hardly any. Oh well.

I found another outhouse a couple days ago. Really cute one, couldn't get a view from the front because it's in a yard that's gotta fence around it. I did get a shot of the back side of it. Never seen one with cut outs anywhere but in the door.
Outhouses around here are few and far between because over the years, Texas A&M stole, borrowed, bought, were donated??? outhouses to put on the center pole of their bonfires when they play University of Texas, the outhouses were painted burnt orange and had UT Frathouse painted on them before the bonfire was sit ablaze.

Tx thanks for the complement....Charlotte has LONG since gotten rid of its outhouses so I had to think outside the box. I wanted to have Kaitlyn looking over her shoulder with a frown but everytime she would break out laughing. Kept saying mom geeshhh I am walking into the woods and EVERYONE knows WHY Gotta love a 11 year old girl
She wouldnt even walk home holding the roll LOL

The first one is mine....well not mine personally. There are several still remainin in our lil town, tho not any of them still in use that I know of. And yes....it is a two holer. I don't know why anyone would want a two holer LOL

Now days houses are listed with realters......3 br....2 bath etc...wonder if back then they listed it as: Lil 2 room house with a 2 holer outhouse with a large storage area for your Sears and Roebucks? Was that a status symbol???? HaHaHaHa

An ole rancher down around Kaycee, Wyoming was a real card.
We went to one of his later-in-life birthday parties where his family held a barbeque in the yard. His comment to all those attending was, "I
can remember when we ate in the house and potty outside; now we eat outside and potty in the house!"

There's also an outhouse I think it's in Virginia City (Ranchwife where were you???) that is two stories. I had to go back a few times just to figure out how they did it, since you can't use it and it was cordoned off so you really couldn't get a good look at it. Maybe it was in Nevada City??? Ranchwife???
I've seen one of those two story outhouses,a place in Alta....Empty Town has a hotel with two story outhouse,I for the life of me can't remember how they told us it worked,just remember thinking it was a neat concept.
