I know I ain't been missed, but the start of Semester 2 was rough, so I have been off my internet forums. :D But anyhow, I had a password dilemma, and now I'm MYT Farms instead of mytfarms. I was sent a new password, and tried to activate it and keep my account, but that all blew up. Anyway, I turned 15 the 20th and I am just excited as can be. Calving season is approaching, and I can't wait for some new babies. I will be going to A.I. school over April's spring break. :-) Can't wait for that either. I also will be taking my Driver's Permit test sometime in February, so watch out for anyone with Colorado plates and an Angus decal on the side of their vehicle. :shock: :lol: Overall, it looks to be a very promising year full of new ideas and ventures.
(Well, full of new insurance bills, ect. for me. But hey, welcome to the real world.)

Yes that does happen with the password. Had the same thing happen on cattletoday forum.

Hope you have had some practice driving. :D :wink: My son gets to drive around the place and ran a Ford tractor this summer for us, only time I ever yelled at him was when he was driving the crewcab to put in the shop and he wasn't paying attention and almost drove into his dad's '57 Chevy Bel Aire. :shock: :shock: He reminded me that there was no brake on my side. :oops: :D

Thank you both for the wishes. I've had some time to drive around the ranch, and have even gotten in some 50mph highway time on a local road. However, I'm still getting the feel for driving and am still learning how to watch and pay attention to everything at once. Once again, I thank you both. Big Muddy, stay warm.

I had no idea it would take off like it did. It's starting to get on MY nerves. :lol: Oh well, I've learned.
 
Happy birthday. Yes that pesky word game is addicting and entertaining. Some provinces require a big L sticker for new drivers. Do you have any of those regs there. Also in Alberta you can get your learners licence at 14 and drive alone at 16.
 
WOW, thank you all!!! Triangle Bar, if I drive down your way for state fair or something, you may want an extra-heavyduty guard. :D per, I don't know that we have anything like that. At 15 you have to take a test to drive with a parent or legal guardian. (I.e., Grandma, Uncle Dave, ect.) Then, at 16, you may drive all alone. However, it is not until you are 16 1/2 that you can haul ONE friend or non-family member around. At 17, you may haul as many people as the seat-belts permit. :shock: Mom'll probly make sure only one or two people ride along with me. I guess that's for the best. :)
 
Yes MYT moms are good at looking out for us. Thanks I was just curious about how it works there. My kids are surprised that I took a drivers test and it wasn't grandfathered like my dad's was.

L for learners, can't remember whether for 6 mo. or a year.

N for novice, for another year,

and as my friend in Vancouver says, due to their notoriously bad driving,

I for new immigrants. :D

Thanks Gcreeck. Um, BTW, CO is some what famous for its low quality drivers. :roll: We should have a lot of I stickers passed out.
That would be for Idiots. Of course, over the years, I've heard other words to describe CO drivers, but most don't really need to bi repeated.
