Thursday we were in Michigan for our mother's memorial service. It was a time of celebrating her life and happiness that she is not suffering anymore

Indian summer here in Delaware so Mr. nr and I took advantage of a Fall walk in woods a minute drive from our house. Some trees haven't turned yet but nice warm honey smell in the dried leaves. Took a leftover Halloween "Snickers" break amongst some ruins of an old Delaware homestead. Fallow meadow, still lots of green here waiting a hard frost.

This one looks like it would hurt ifn you were on a barn sour horse.
GREAT pictures nr.

Sorry to hear of the death in your family. We extend our sympathy.

Pretty pictures and pretty daughter. Our fall colors have all turned to brown, but that is still better than white. Rain would be more welcome than snow, as the white stuff always makes life more difficult. Rain makes our sandy roads better. Snow can be very hard to drive through, and if it gets deep enough to cover the grass we have to feed hay.
