A few post I see from some Wyoming friends I have seen today. I won't list their names here.

Seventy-two years ago on this date, my oldest brother Ed was with the 24th Infantry Div. at Schofield Barracks, near Pearl Harbor when the Japanese bombed. He had just turned 17 in November and had served since Jan. of 1941. Remembering all the military who have sacrificed for our freedoms.

This is a day of remembrance in honor of those who perished in the attack on Pearl Harbor. Today our community will also remember Bear Steele, at a memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Boulder Community Center.

My dad was a Marine who dove for days retrieving the bodies under water. I didn't appreciate the full extend until he finally shared that time with me. That was about 5 years ago. He just wouldn't talk about it before. I wish he had..........I think I would have understood who he was much better. May they all R.I.P.

The flags should be at half mast for the people we lost at Pearl Harbor and nothing else today.

I never forget Pearl Harbor Day. Thank you, in their stead, for your Dad's and Brothers' service and their sacrifice. The flags in Liberty, Texas were at half mast as I passed through today.
The Bing front page today has a nice picture of services on the fantail of an underway US Navy ship.

Google chose to ignore American Hero's and listed a link to Nelson Mandela's bio.....
