I used to watch Lawrence Welk and Hee Haw with my late grandfather. I was afraid of the dark but I still walked the quarter mile to their house. We would eat cherries jubilee ice cream and he would laugh a pure laugh at some of the antics of those people. What a wonderful fellow.
