Nifty pictures, Tap. Your coyote cub picture reminds me of one time when I was a kid and came across a coyote den. The babies were playing outside on their "beach front" property. Having on a heavy pair of buckskin gloves, I caught one of the cubs and carried it along on my horse for a quarter of a mile. Then I got to thinking, "what am I going to do now?" I ended up riding back to put the baby once again with his brothers and sisters. :-)

Nice pictures! I sure envy the grass and wide open spaces you have. Your cattle look to be in great shape, and it appears your calves are growing well.

Soapweed, I think that it is actually a fox pup. It had white on the end of its tail anyway. There were two of them, and the day before I got within about 3 ft. of them as I looked between the bales. We have a fox around the yard here that I kind of think of as our local "mascot" as it is hardly scared of a person. They are cute little buggers.

WyomingRancher, I like this area for the powerful grass, but the wide open gets old when the wind blows, which is most of the time. Thanks for the compliments.

I thought it looked more like a fox pup too but than it occured to me that I had never seen a yote pup that young so I was like, could be... Cute little bugger.. Some of my favorite hunting memories on this place was sitting on the ground during gun season the first and second year here and watching a couple red foxes about 25 yards away at sun up coming back to their den.. It led to a real interesting 15-30 minutes as they wrestled around and played... We don't see a lot of foxes around here anymore so it is always nice to see the stinkers...
