Finally done calving heifers here, and I got off the ranch a couple times. Here are a few shots I took while I was running around this last week.

Some greasewood country I like that is closer to Belle Fourche. They run mostly hereford cows still.

I ran over to the Slim Buttes (which are between here and Liberty Belle's area) the other day. Just this side of them is some very grassy country, and the ranch I am showing in these next two pictures is very well taken care of. Drought is not ever much of an issue with them.

They do have lots of timber in areas, but I thought I would show the other side of the Buttes.

CC, and Mrs. Greg, most people who drive by on the hiway probably think that this area is pretty barren. You have to get off the road to see most of the places I like. We have a big mix of country.

Good pictures Tap. I just found these this morning. I love the scenery we have out here. Hope the word doesn't get out about it to the tourist trade. I kinda like it lonesome!
