Picked up some bulls

gathered up 3 young bulls from the breeding herd. 2 of them are swollen in the sheath. Will rest fix them up or should they have a course of antibiotics?

Likely have a scratch or a tear in there BMR, a round of LA won't hurt.

No more fun for the boys this year either if you want them to heal. :wink:

Our vet recommended the opposite. We found it very early though, no real swelling. Cut on the inside, gave him a good dose of penicillin and some anti-inflamitories and then turned him back out. Not counting on him to breed, but don't want things to adhere to things they shouldn't when healing. He is doing excellent right now BTW. Never looked better.
