RA 12 and 172s calf. I went in too late on 12's calf. 172(new cow) had
a terrible udder when she got milk. 12 took 172s calf like her own.

From the looks of it, a guy could get a bunch of gloves out of just one cowhide if it had some bramha in it! :D I like your salt pack train. Our country is a tad too rocky for a toboggan though!

Really enjoying your pics! And you are showing everybody the fertile and productive countryside of northern Missouri as a bonus.

Any Amish near you? You could probably get a good quality well broke mule from the Amish, but you'd have to teach it about packing and not pulling.

leanin' H--- my brahmas....gloves...sniffle sniffle :o :( :-) :-) :-) Ol' speed racer the orange taboggan mule works pretty good for now. :-) I do everything I can to keep my truck sitting and a horse busy..... even if the neighbors will laugh at me :-)

MO_cows---- Yes I have Amish to the north, NW and east of me a ways. I wanted to go to the mule and draft horse sale they had in Maryville last month, but I train horses and had too many miles to ride to go. I'm looking for a baby. I need a couple of draft horses too....I might have to do some bartering with the Amish..... I'm a little scared to buy something off of them though. Since they do use their stuff everyday and they would sell me something.... that could be real good or very bad :-) I bet you have a lot of grass also!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the photos of green grass and fat cattle RA.

Seems to me one of those big, floppy-eared pets of yours would make a fine pack "horse".

You wouldnt need a britchen would ya?  The "weathers" on a bramer wouldnt let the pack outfit move front too far!

I can't wait until I am checking bovines on a bovine... :D

I live right next to 1300 acres of government ground....awesome for riding colts....mowed paths,woods,streams....I have been all over it... I noticed they put up no horseback riding signs this spring.... so I haven't been riding there.... I never left any sign(trash,etc)...so I don't know why..... but I laugh at the thought if they caught me on it riding my steer :D technically... :D

My cousin TC Holloway once had an old blue roan steer that he broke like that and he would ride it out at grand openings at rodeos. He had the thing broke to bow or kneel down and I believe it was him as a little kid that would sing the national anthem. I remember seeing him in Fort Pierre. That was years ago when both I and him were quite young.

Faster Horses----That was funny...puppies :D There aren't very many around up here, so I here a lot of things.... take the other day.... I took some heifers to the vet.... I stopped at a gas station.... I heard.... what are those daddy :D

Yes it gets very hot and humid. One good thing, it sure helps take a lot of the horses I'm riding. :D I can't wait for the heat and humidity!!! Wow we have been getting lots of wind and it went back to being cool.

TXTibbs---sounds like your cousin had a good one. Thanks for sharing. I had a few longhorn steers....especially ol' Scout... that were pretty good. This will be my first brahma...I hope he pans out.

gcreekrch--- crazy...yes. bored with the norm.....definitly yes :-)
