are very very wild.... :D

He's a reg. Brahman(ABBA)..... an 1/8 Gyr.
 
Good lookin bunch of zebus. In the 70's and 80's, they covered florida. I can rember goin out to gather them and them comein to you. They would stomp a dog to death, hook a horse down and try and kill a cowboy quick. There's a old expression, I'll camp on u like a bramaha cow. Most had horns then. We called them hook bugers. If they were raised tame. They were gentle and good natchered. There's still lots around but not like the old days. Lots of pure bred breders still.
 
Thanks cowhunter! ...and thanks for the story! You're right. Raise them to be tame and they will be. Mine are very tame. I'll be getting back into the beefier reds and grays again now. I liked Gyr in them for raising buckers. I'm putting horned herefords on angus and brahman cows, to make up a big ol pot of momma cow chili. :D
