A rather chilly day. Started out at -9 degrees and got to a whopping 18. At least it was mostly still

Thought it was too cold to take pictures but couldn't help myself...had to go back for the camera to take a picture of the moon going down.

I must say, the drought was alot more pleasant to calve in, but we aren't complaining.

NR, here is one of our Lad calves, have two heifers and a steer so far

I know how ya feel Nicky...brrrrrrrr it's 6 above 0 right now...but I'm glad we're not calving quite yet..The cold temps sure do make things look really crisp though...Sunset photo is great!

Looks like you're getting some nice calves on the ground. Your group of bulls sure look good also.

As nice as those calves are to look at I'm still not looking forward to calving season here. Needs to warm up some more. I'll start by March and I've been wishing I wasn't going to start until May. I guess I know what causes it so I could make the change.
