It was a beautiful day... 60's and MUDDY :D We got over 1 1/2" of rain in the last week :D . Amazing how it can change your whole attitude...not to mention the grass!!

Your country looks a lot like ours here on the other side the great basin. Whats your elevation and yearly rainfall? Nice cattle and beautiful photos!!! Some could be framed! :D
 
Thanks Soap...that is high praise coming from you :wink: All the AI calves were born the 3rd week of Jan.

Leaning H, thanks to you too :) Our elev is 3400 here and goes just a bit higher on the rest of the range. Precipitation is [/i]supposed to be 9 - 10 inches. Last year was 5.4 :???: But things are really looking up after last week :) What is your elev and rainfall?
 
We get about the same for average on rainfall but our cattle run between 6500 to 8500 feet. Our house is at 5700 feet. We had to move 65 head saturday after a buthead left a gate down and the cows headed up the canyon from off the foothills. I didnt recharge the ol battery on the camera so no pics! :cry: Anyway, beautiful Hereford cattle and country!
