Others of you have posted pictures of your new colts. Here are pictures of two of ours which were born last month. They were born a day apart and are 5 weeks old in these photos. Here they are together with their mothers. The mare on the left is the mother of the one on the right.

These next three pictures are closeups of the blaze faced foal, a stud colt out of the mother of our black mare that went to the World Show last fall. He is by a son of her sire (Frosty Feature) named Feature Hank.

Next, the other foal is a big filly out of a full sister to the black mare and by our Frosty Feature stud who goes back to Easy Jet on the bottom. This filly is line bred with Frosty Feature a grand sire on both sides.

This is a picture taken a year ago of a full brother to the filly above. This line breeding appears to be working. To see what Frosty Feature looked like, click on this link to Jordan Quarter Horses: http://www.jordanqtrhorses.4t.com/

Thanks folks. I'm glad you like them.

Good horse pictures are hard to take. Especially of these little buggers who were stomping & switching at flies like crazy and would not stand still!

They do seem to have pretty good butts. I am just as impressed with the shoulder on them which doesn't show as well in these pictures. These horses have been very cowy and athletic. All credit goes to Bob Jordan who passed away this spring.
