My favorite cow, "Marry Moo" AKA #9

Some Heifers that just calved.

A couple 2006 retained heifers, getting ready to A.I. in few weeks.

Some 2007 Calves under 2 months old first crop from our new Simmental bull.

Good looking stock Aplusmt. That south eastern Ks is some of my favorite country. Are you still in fescue country or are you further west?

I am in the farthest SE corner. about 10 miles to Missouri and 10 miles to Oklahoma.

Bunches of fescue. That is one reason #9 (marry moo) is my favorite cow. Easy keeper on the fescue, in picture she just came off a very rough winter of stockpiled fescue and poor hay quality due to drought the past year.

Ps. If you want to find my place, just go to SE KS corner and look for the only hilly, rocky area in the state of Kansas :wink:

I will put up some more pics as I get them. I have not got this digital camera dialed in just yet. I thought they were idiot proof, but as you can see from the pics some are not lighted properly and somehow that one of the replacement heifer came out all fuzzy :?

Plus I have an older computer with dial up so I have to take the memory card and get it put on CD. Shopping for a newer computer as we speak then going to get satellite or DSL.

Not sure how they came up with that name, just talking one day. They think they have to name everything that comes on the place. Have to ask them if they got it from a movie or something.
