Here are the pictures from when we took protein to the BLM permit. Had one feeder there, but needed two more.

The neighbor that shot a deer and needed it packed home. His dad tried to tell us they shot it on the BLM permit, but Jason was so excited to tell Mike all about it, that he told the truth...that he shot on our leased property where they didn't have permission to hunt :???: Leave it to kids to tell the truth.

Jason said the ride up the canyon was as much fun as shooting the buck

We took in 10 bags of protien, and 6 of salt to mix with it. It's probably 5 miles or so, I don't really know. They will only be there til the 24th, so this it all they'll get cause I can't do it alone and Mike is off on his elk hunting trip. That's why we mix it with the salt, so it will hopefully last them. They still have good feed, just don't want the calves to fall off before we sell them.

Wow...your pictures sure put things into perpesctive on putting out salt and mineral. I think loading my pickup up with saltboxes and the bags of mineral is quite a load...but it's nothing compared to having to use pack horses to get it to your cows...now thats western. A little to western for me...lol I'd admit...I'm spoiled when it comes to having a pickup to get the job done. Amazing country..sure enjoy your pictures...thanks.

Thanks everyone. It can get a little western sometimes, but it's not bad. Thanks DJL, she's a nice mare. Mike thinks she walks on water :P But...she didn't get to go to elk camp with him cause the stud always goes.

Very neat pictures Nicky! That is something that we here don't see every day. Or any day for that matter.

Thanks for sharing it with us.
