Soapweed nice pics next time I see you in town you'll have tell all about Waddy bet it was a great time

Waddie is a very captivating entertainer, and looks to be a congenial all-around good guy. I very much enjoyed his show.

Soapweed Looks like you took the scenic route to Chadron. That Beaver Wall country sure is pretty.

It is a very pretty area up there, Sagebrush. You'd never know that country existed just by traveling through on Highway 20. I probably went fairly close to your ranch on the trip. Looks like it is good hard grass and delightful ranch country. No wonder your red calves sell so well.

Did you learn anything at the Ranching for Profit seminar the other day? I thought it was a very informative meeting, with long-time gurus Harlan Hughes and Ivan Rush sharing their knowledge.
I saw you from a distance, but didn't get a chance to go say "hi". My son was along, and he had to leave early to get in on another obligation. As I was hitch-hiking home, I didn't want to stray too far from a potential ride. Guess I could have even caught a ride home with you, come to think of it.

I think that long lost slingshot was for buffalo hunting in the old days..lol I can just see someone sittin on their horse, taking aim and sling shooting! Neat shot!

Thanks for taking us along on your trip Soapweed. Those were very well taken photos. You have a good eye for subject matter. And I really liked the foggy pictures in your other post. There is a picture I really like by Kurt Markus, the cowboy photographer, that they remind me of.

Yes you were close. My place is 6 or 7 miles cross country to the northwest of Beaver Wall.. 22 miles by the county road.lol I summer yearling hfs. right up on top of Beaver Wall and that is excellent grass country. The seminar was very intersting..always seem to learn something.. They didn't give us much time to socialize that day..lol..Saw you across the room and wanted to say hi but never got the chance. Sure could of dropped you off on the way home..at least at your ranch sign...lol
