Great pictures, seeing the birds reminded me of this,i was driving past a pasture along the highway and it had some cows lying down and around every cow there must have been at least 100 birds surrounding them,it was a cool morning so i think they might have been getting heat from the cow?? anyone else ever notice this??

The last picture of wife is just awesome. You should submit to something else besides here.

soapweed... howd percentage come out on ur heifers and how long breeding season....ill be doing mine here next week

We turned bulls with our yearling heifers on May 16th and pulled them in early August. The heifers turned out 14 percent open. If they were to be checked again in a month, undoubtedly some of the ones that checked out open now would show up bred by then. These heifers that are preg-checked open will be sold soon.

What are you vaccinating for and what product are you using? Thanks.

The yearling heifers were vaccinated with StayBred VL5 and Bovashield Gold FP5, and were also given Dectomax injectable. I also put a "7" year brand on the shoulder of each of the heifers that were bred. In another month or two, we will give each keeping heifer a permanent ear tag, and give them an Alpha 7 blackleg shot along with their first Scourgard 4KC.
