as of today I'm not getting an email notifying of a new PM, it was working last night....is anyone else having this problem?
 
i haven't had any problems with pm, but then i don't get many either. but i have had a problem with having to log in over and over. i'll log in , post a reply or whatever, then have to log in again, and start over :mad: it seems if i can't reply to a message or a post in less than 30 seconds, i have to log in again. anyone else having this problem?

I know Nicky had the same problem, and since she hasn't posted for awhile I'm going with its still happening
 
I'm also not getting any notifications for posts when I click on the box to "Notify me when a reply is posted."
 
Are ya'll referrin to the pop up box that notifies you of a new pm, or an actual email sent to you saying you have a pm?

I've never used that feature cuz all it'd do is clutter up my email even worse than it already is. I'm on here often enuff tho, that I catch the pop ups.
 
I didn't get the e-mail notification that I got a PM. I have also had problems with logging in. I tried to reset it by deleting my web site history, it worked with the log on problem over at CT, but it didn't work here.
Hope Macon can get it fixed soon.

Yup, Justin I've had the problem, too.

Macon sent me this helpful advice but I haven't done anything about it yet.

Delete any cookie on your computer that has ranchers.net in title. Usually listed under Tools, Options, Security in your browser and also find others by right clicking on Start then left clicking on Explore and looking in Documents and Settings under your name and finding a folder named Cookies.

Happens to me all the time. 95% of the time I just lurk for that very reason.

My notification just started working again after months of not working...I guess Macon had to break y'alls to get mine working! :wink: :wink: :lol: :lol: 8)
 
Macon told me to go into my profile and cut off the notification option for 24 hours, then try it again. This didn't work for me, so I cut it off and forgot about it. After the last server update, I thought to turn it on again and it is working now.
