pocket gophers

hi yall how you doing out there i started trapping pocket gophers out in the feild and pasture and i have caught 6 or 7 right know me and my buddy and my dog went out trapping today but we had to come out early because it started to rain so i thaught that i would go on here and see what you guys think of them i will have to take some pictures and put them on here so talk to ya later.

I think I can safely say that anyone who has cut hay and had to stop to clean off the cutter bar from a gopher mound or has been a horse back when your mount has broken through into a burough or tunnel; hates those darn varmints. I've read where one gopher will make 7 to 10 mounds.... so by doing a little math, today you eliminated approximately 40 to 70 mounds. Tomorrow you can start on the next billion or so gophers left. :wink: 8)

yea my dad when he is cutting hey he will have to get off tracter ever so often and clean off the disk mower.if a horse steps in a hole could that hurt there foot? yea they are a real pain when i get them i take and kill them and then cut the front feet off and i will sell them i puts a little money in my pocket i like money because i am 13 so i love money i did not know they could make that many holes and tomorrow i will get in the truck and go to the pasture but i can not go on the road it is on the yard so i will go out about 6:30 or 7:30 and i will get back about dinner time so i cant miss dinner so talk to you later bye
