Since I have ridden all of Soaps horses and can say with certainly that they are all worth their weight in gold...And if any are for sale you had better jump at it and not blink an eye...
This is a great post... I haven't seen a horse yet I didn't like.... cure your dun is good looking....

My mighty mule doesn't qualify as a working cow horse, but how about as a working cowhass?

Haymaker, What do ya charge to hot shoe an old Cayuse? Looks like you have a dandy setup. I used to have a goy from town come out with a rig like that to knock the nails in on my horses. But about 5 springs ago when I called him he said he'd had to raise his rate from $55 to $95 plus $50 to come clear out here. I had to decline although he did great work. Now I do them myself but just cold shoeing. Anyway, nice set up! :D

He's a pretty good mule, but he would be a really good mule if he didn't like to kill calves as a hobby. :? I plan to use him this spring to rope and drag calves to the branding fire.

I learned to rope off an ol mule my dad had. best dam animal we ever had. i could rope steers, deer hunt, and even breakaway rope off of him. He died when i was 12 and not one of the horses i have had since then have come close to him.

Years ago, a buddy had a mule he hunted off of. As well as worked cattle. There was no fence that mule would not jump. He could take him anywhere. There sure smart animals but they can get a little mean. At least the ones I've been around could be. Had a lot of aim in there kicks to.

Casper is a 6yr old gelding that I own. Never really got a chance to start riding him until last April. He is going to be one of those that you don't see very often.

I justed pulled 5 bulls out of the cows and loaded them on my trailer. Casper followed right in to shut the center gate.

Vegas is a 6yr also. He is a been there done that kind of horse. Our daughter has been riding him for a little over a year. 99.9% bomb proof, the only exception is electric fence. I had a kid working for me last fall that got him hit about 20ft from a 25mile fencer. He didn't think much of it.

This has been the best post ever if you ask me! I love looking at horses almost as much as riding! Thanks HayMaker for the idea and thanks everyone for the pictures!

I aint seen a sorry lookin horse out of all of them. I'm glad I aint put up none. Lol. That dark bay of wyomin rancher sure fits the bill for me. Looks like a old poco beino mare I had as a kid. Dark legged and all. How's that one bred? Anybody got any remnants of hollywood bill? He stood stud for 20 years in chiefland. A little town in our county. At white farms. As well as hollywood gold and my barbarion.

We tend to collect horse around here I have had up to 17 around at one time with 12 being my own. If I get a chance I will post some pictures of a few of the others. I have a mare that is an own daughter of Brenna's Kid out of Top Sail Cody mare. She is pretty sweet, not very big but lots of heart and ability. We don't raise any colts yet but I do ride outside horses.
