I looked at a powder river crowding tub at a local dealers here in southern alberta. The price was $5600.00 for the tub and alley. I called Big R in Havre Montana (120 miles from here) and the exact same unit is $3998.00. Looks like I am heading south!

Is the price in the US including duty, freight and taxes which you will have to bare upon import.

Since it is built in the US there is no duty. GST will have to be paid at the border. I guess my freight charge to myself and time will have be considered .

You should get one of the guys on here in Montana to pick it up for you and pull off all the tags. Then you can buy it "used" and get a half price receipt.........

went to Havre yesterday and bought the 2 W crowding tub and alley as it was a much better quality than the powder river and only $400 more. Get this though, the 2W is made in Nanton Alberta .... and it was $1400 less in Havre than at my local Peavey Mart. I geuss we are just catching the dollar swing.
