Preg checking fall cows

We went down to where my folks used to live to help a friend of mine preg check his fall cows. I think the wind was blowing close to 50mph, and the sand was flying.

Other then driving 100 miles each way, and packing 100 pounds of sand home in my eyes, ears and nose, it was quite a pleasant day.

is it just me or is the preg checker wearing a mask? Was he sick or does he not like the smell of money? :lol:

Its an optical illusion, I think. I don't remember him having a mask. The way the sand and dust was blowing, a person should have been wearing one.

looks like he might be wearin' one. :? although, if he is i don't blame him. the last two weeks here has damn near been mask wearin' conditions. wind will just not give up.

It took me awhile but I am pretty sure that handle to adjust the alley in and out is what you are mistaking for a mask. Any day working cattle is a good day.
