Beastiality is not a subject that belongs in the coffee shop.

nr and reader the electro ejaculator is inserted in the rectum of the bull and charges are sent thru to stimulate the bull into ejaculating so a semen sample can be collected and examined under a microscope. Some bulls seem to enjoy it after been done a few times but they can beller but that must be a primal response. Some vets can do it by rubbing with their hand in side but has much slower response. Reader I do not recommend this machine when boyfriend is on the fritz as if his eyes are crossed they might stay that way. :cowboy:

I'd been wondering how anyone had the nerve to collect the stuff from a big bull! Found one under vet supplies ($1500) along with.... an equine artificial vagina! What a strange world you folks live in. Little kids must get some interesting questions hanging around the barn!

Been to some trade shows, a couple of them had a booth where an "animal immobilizer" was being demonstrated on video. Fact is, the immobilizer is just like a miniature electro-ejaculator and "calms" the animal while you do what you need to do. Anyone here have one? Just curious, they sell for about $600.00. I guess if a person had to cut a few bulls it sure would save on working facilities!

And how would one attach it to the bull without roping or some facilities? And once they are roped or in the facilities, why would you need one?

Had a neighbor who had one. Used it on a dog one time to get porkypine quills out of it's nose. The dog died.

We had two female dogs one time that barked up the wrong porcupine tree. They were covered with souveniers, and our feeble attempts to use pliers were just plain not working. Mrs. S and I were taking a stock trailer full of cows to the sale, so just loaded up the dogs to have the vet do the honors in quill removal. We dropped off the dogs, went to the sale, had dinner and did some errands around town. When we went to pick up the dogs, they were still woozy from being under the influence of anesthetic. We loaded them up into the back of the pickup and headed for home. Nine weeks later, one of these dogs had a litter of pups. We were thoroughly convinced that the condition occured because of date rape.

I saw one demonstrated at a bull auction this spring--They tried to use it on a tame old loose herd bull in the ring and all it did was make the bull spin in circles-- but the bull raiser is a fellow I know well- he says he has one and it works good in a chute.... Says you can do any kind of work on a cows head or anyplace and they won't move- said it sure made working on them a lot easier ...

The one they demonstrated was just like a battery charger and instead of having the rectal probe like the $600 one had clips like a battery charger...One hooked on the tail at the tailhead and the other hooked on the lip--This one only cost $99 and was being peddled by a fellow out of the Dakotas somewhere....
