We finally got a shower yesterday, giving us 3/10's of rain, taking the fire hazard down for five minutes anyway. I've been watering the yard fairly steady, but all the sprinkler water in the world doesn't green it up like a little sprinkle of rain.

Boy, Soapweed, that rain seems to have 'greened' your country up nicely.
How much rain did you get, all told? That should put a nice 'bloom' on your calves. YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!! I love rain!

The last two days we have received four little rains which have totaled up to 1.2 inches of moisture. Last week we had about an inch total. It all helps, and the fire hazard has been subdued a bit, also.

They are great pictures and it all natural... Loved to be there for a bit ...MaKES you feel free..... and at peace with nature...

Great pics Soap, but... er... where's the mud??? Is that gravel hauled in or is that natural ? Looks like your country is greening right up, it always amazes me to see what a little moisture will do. We've had about 4" over the last couople of weeks, so even though the hay should have been done weeks ago we're still wondering when it's all gonna end and we get to finish up those last couple hundred acres.
Of course, elk season is just around the corner and hay seems somewhat less important on the ole priority scale..
